Purpose of the position
\xc2\xb7 Accounting & Reporting Function under Finance Controllership
Roles and Responsibility
\xc2\xb7 Perform day to day accounting operations & implement & monitor processes with respect Fixed Assets, AP, AR, GL Accounting and Revenue Recognition
\xc2\xb7 Vendor and Customer balance reconciliation process,
\xc2\xb7 Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements,
\xc2\xb7 Customer Ageing analysis
\xc2\xb7 Ensuring all the compliances wrt TDS, TCS, professional tax, GST, regulatory payments, other contractual payments and agreements
\xc2\xb7 Running the monthly closing process and providing monthly financial statements
\xc2\xb7 Submission of monthly stock statements and other financial reporting data
\xc2\xb7 Performing Month & year end Intercompany reconciliations
\xc2\xb7 Fixed asset register maintenance
\xc2\xb7 Support Financial statements as per companies act and as per Indian accounting standards and IndAS
\xc2\xb7 Perform Month-end close process and timely monthly financial statements
\xc2\xb7 Coordinating with external financial, compliance and tax auditors
\xc2\xb7 SAP and tally exposure
\xc2\xb7 Export oriented manufacturing industry, preference from food industry
\xc2\xb7 Hands on experience on Word and Excel
Requisite skills:
Functional:
\xc2\xb7 Advanced degree in Accounting - CA
\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
\xc2\xb7 Experience with creating Financial Statements
\xc2\xb7 Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
\xc2\xb7 Excellent accounting software user (SAP, TALLY) and administration skills
