Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Finance & Accounts
1. Accounts & Financial Reporting
Supervise day-to-day accounting operations (AP/AR, General Ledger, Payroll, etc.).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with
Ind-AS and statutory audit requirements
.
Review and finalize MIS reports for management.
2. Budgeting & Cost Control
Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor actual vs budgeted expenditure.
Implement effective cost control measures.
3. Taxation & Compliance
Oversee
GST, TDS, Income Tax filings
.
Handle statutory compliance with
ROC, RBI, SEBI (if applicable)
.
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
4. Banking & Treasury Management
Manage fund flow, working capital, and cash flow.
Maintain relationships with banks for loans, LC, BG, and other facilities.
Monitor interest costs and optimize finance charges.
5. Audit & Internal Controls
Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors.
Strengthen internal control systems and SOPs.
Ensure timely closure of audits with no major qualifications.
6. Team Leadership
Supervise & mentor the accounts and finance team.
Allocate responsibilities and ensure timely deliverables.
Support management in decision-making with financial insights.
Qualification
CA Inter
(mandatory)
Preferable: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
Upto 20 years of experience in Finance & Accounts (depending on company level)
Knowledge of
Tally / SAP / ERP systems (Gofrugal)
Strong understanding of
Indian Accounting Standards, Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, TDS, Banking & Compliance
