Job Title: AGM / DGM - Product Development & Design
Location: Noida
Role Summary
The incumbent will lead the development, design, and strategy for solar products and systems including inverters, modules, and energy storage solutions. The role involves spearheading new product innovations, managing vendor development, ensuring compliance with BIS/IEC standards, and providing technical and commercial support to sales and marketing teams. The position demands strong technical acumen, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of solar technologies and market trends.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Development & R&D
Lead design and development of solar on-grid/off-grid inverters, energy storage systems (ESS), and hybrid systems.
Drive R&D initiatives for solar module technologies (Mono PERC, TopCon, HJT).
Manage product lifecycle from concept to commercialization including prototyping, testing, and certification.
Oversee BIS and IEC certification processes for modules, inverters, and solar pumps.
2. Strategy & Market Intelligence
Develop solar product strategies aligned with company goals.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis for new and existing products.
Identify disruptive technologies and new market opportunities in renewable energy, EV integration, and green hydrogen.
3. Vendor & Supply Chain Development
Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for key components including inverters, batteries, and modules.
Conduct technical audits and inspections at vendor facilities.
Develop SOPs for product and process standardization.
4. Technical & Sales Support
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance to channel partners and customers.
Deliver product-specific training to sales and dealer teams.
Support marketing in preparing technical brochures, manuals, warranty documents, and policy guidelines.
5. Project Management
Support rooftop and ground-mounted solar project design up to 1 MW.
Lead cost analysis, budgeting, and techno-commercial evaluations.
Ensure on-time delivery and product quality compliance.
6. Training & Stakeholder Engagement
Conduct training workshops for government officials (NISE, MNRE), channel partners, and dealers.
Represent the company at national/international solar conferences and exhibitions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education: B.Tech, M. Tech - Electrical, Electronics.
Experience: 11+ years in solar product development, R&D, and strategic roles with leading organizations in renewable energy.
Experience in handling product design, market research, and technical support for solar modules, inverters, and energy storage solutions.
Preferred Industry Exposure
