B.Tech / B.Sc in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent
Experience Required:
12 - 15 years in Chemical Manufacturing (preferably in Specialty or Performance Chemicals)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee day-to-day plant operations, including production planning, quality control, and process optimization.
Ensure adherence to batch processing and chemical safety protocols such as HAZOP, MSDS, and PPE.
Coordinate with R&D and QA/QC teams for scale-up, trials, and new product development.
Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize costs.
Monitor and enforce compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements related to chemical manufacturing.
Train, mentor, and lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and operators to achieve departmental KPIs.
Maintain operational documentation and ensure readiness for audits and inspections.
Ensure timely procurement and inventory control of raw materials, solvents, and packaging.
