Role CLS Operation Job Level/ Designation AGM/M2 Function / Department Corporate Technology Location Mumbai Job Purpose Responsible to manage the Operations of Cable Landing Station (CLS), O&M of Submarine equipment at CLS, BBG land route and associated facilities in accordance with the agreed scope of work in Mumbai for the Bay of Bengal Gateway (BBG) submarine cable system To provide timely notifications and records for all consortium related matters for necessary actions to be taken. Interaction with Government Licensing Authority for permission related with CLS operational activities. Key Result Areas/Accountabilities Compliance with quality audit process and JSMD Guidelines (Joint Maintenance System Document BBG Cable System) Notifications for planned and unplanned Events to all stake holders. Preparation of Equipment performance reports. CLS equipment routine maintenance Coordination with cross-functional teams to adhere to the defined processes. Maintain BBG Cable Network uptime Coordination with NOC, other cable stations & Vendors Maintain Cable Networks, O&M & Traffic up Time Perform preventive & corrective maintenance CLS passive infra Proactive monitoring of BBG Land-route and maintain a risk register and mitigation plan Co-ordination with Government Licensing Authority for permission related with CLS operation. Ensure Uptime equipment as per defined SLA. Ensure Process/SLA compliance as defined within consortium To attend a fault & restoration as per defined TAT Tracking of R&R case with vendor & spare management Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience SDH & DWDM Submarine Cable System (5-7 years) Total experience (8-10 years) Type-A certification Type-B1/B2 certification Must have technical / professional qualifications B. Tech (Electronics and Telecommunication) or Equivalent Degree
