We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Consultant Specialist. In this role, you will: Act as subject matter expert on Payments and Cash Management Domain. Handle large and complex project which require support from other global and local application in HSBC. Understand business requirements and translate into technical solutions across a wide array of products and technologies Partner with the business as a member of the technology team and create and maintain the Functional design for the various modules in the platform Identify, create, and maintain Functional Requirements as User Stories, User Interface requirements and Service interface requirements per the processes established in the organization. Document and maintain User Stories, Functional Design, and System Specification Work in an agile cross functional team and collaborate with the business and architect team to help identify and define end to end flows and solutions Support the SIT testing team in reviewing the testing scenarios, test cases. Review the test results to ensure all required test scenarios are executed. Mentor junior team members and help them to learn about payments and GD. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Overall 12+ of IT experience with 6+ year minimum Business Analyst experience with enterprise level financial applications Should have experience in Payment\'s domain: Domestic and International Payments, Payment routing, Cheques, Clearing & Settlement Systems (RTGS, Giro, Fedwire, BACS, CHAPS), SWIFT, Standing Instructions, Direct Debits, Bulk Payments, SEPA, Payment formats (EDI, SWIFT, SAP iDOC, ISO20022 XML, NACHA etc) Ability to understand customer business process and requirements and translate into a functional requirement across a wide array of products and technologies Prior experience with Cash Management products specifically Payments, Core Banking and preferably Liquidity Product Management Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data) Prior experience with Agile and User Story writing Ability to draft Process Flows, and Activity Diagrams Ability to be more hands-on and more than merely feeding the specifications to developers (e.g. Do more of writing SQLs, running test suites while doing POCs and functional design) Ability to stretch an extra mile and show willingness to expand technical knowhow about the GD Application.
