We are looking for an experienced Agile Coach to help continue Visa's agile transformation

You will coach, mentor and guide our people to determine the most efficient ways of working for Visa's OVN team. You will analyse the organisation's existing infrastructure and implement improvements to facilitate streamlining processes and create efficiencies. Ultimately, you will play a key role in the long-term improvements to OVN, helping our teams to deliver better products in a faster, more efficient manner.

Objectives of this Role

  • Work with teams to analyse current systems and processes and design a strategy for the adoption of agile practices
  • Build trust and credibility with the team - both for technical and agile experience
  • Guide teams and scrum masters to help them stay on track with agile techniques, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure the overall strategy is being met
  • Coach and mentor Scrum Masters
  • Lead agile workshops for both engineering, product, as well as key stakeholders
  • Promote and advocate a culture of continuous improvement, setting goals and milestones and being accountable for them
  • Drive cultural change by championing an agile mindset, keeping abreast of industry best practices
  • Removing barriers to successful delivery including managing dependencies between teams
  • Facilitating changes to new ways of working
  • Coach the teams Pair Programming, benefits of CI/CD and Continuous Testing
  • Influence change that increases team performance at a sustainable pace and promote continuous improvement
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
  • Facilitate learning and development through individual and team coaching
  • Coach management in agile practices to ensure adoption of best practices from top-down
  • Effectively communicate agile principles, scrum practices and overall operating model across the organisation
  • Champion the use of metrics and other objective measures across teams
  • Undertake regular follow-ups with individual team members to ensure outcomes/goals are being met
  • Keep an objective perspective on issues and find root causes by applying agile principles
  • Hold regular stand-up meetings with cross-functional teams
  • Support teams in determining the resource allocation to maintain agile practices and ensure predictable delivery of outcomes

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as an Agile Coach
  • Servant and team leadership experience
  • Experience in Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe)
  • You have strong Software and Product development experience
  • Can showcase examples of implementing agile techniques in different cultures and environments
  • Experience running agile deliveries of varying size and complexity
Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile Coach and Scrum Master certification
