About the department

Cross IT Services is the unit responsible for supporting compliance management of multiple IT systems in Novo Nordisk. These systems are used on a global scale by many areas of the business, including Research & Development, Early Development, Product Supply, Quality, Finance etc. and are critical to the execution of key business process such as development, manufacturing, sales, finance etc. Cross IT Services focuses on delivering harmonised support services related to the Compliance, Validation and Testing areas, thus supporting the maintenance of the systems in a validated state and provide various support functions to the office of the CIO department with respect to IT Processes, IT Sourcing and Lean Agile Centre of Excellence.

The Position

As an Agile Coach, you will be responsible to fulfil the following duties:

  • Educate the organization on Agile values and methodologies as well as role model techniques and behaviors. Execute trainings and workshops to enhance knowledge on the Agile values and ways of working. Lead Communities of Practise.
  • Coach and mentor all agile roles, teams and ARTs across the global organization (Release Train Engineer, Agile Release Train leadership, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Teams, Business Owner etc.) through adaptation of Agile practices. Apply knowledge on Agile Quality processes and technical agility.
  • Drive continuous improvement and scaling of the agile methods, tools and processes based on learnings captured in the teams/Agile Release Trains. Active participation in the ATO/LACE to evolve the Agile methodologies. Lead strategic initiatives in ATO/LACE (Lean Agile Centre of Excellence).
  • Influence leadership to drive change and enable the organization to move quicker together. Proactively guide and advice LoB and IT.
  • Authority to coach, challenge and guide roles on different levels of the organization based on the endorsed mandate of the ATO/LACE (Lean Agile Centre of Excellence).
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in SAFe framework.
  • Preferably experience with technical IT delivery as Developer, Tester or similar.
  • Agile certification required.
  • Facilitation and training certification preferred.
  • Engaging and motivating of people on all levels of the organization.
  • Passionate about organizational change.
  • People centric and result oriented.
  • Creates leaders and is a team player.
  • Has emotional intelligence to handle mentoring and conflict resolution.
