Your Contribution :

As a Business Development Research Analyst role will include :

Research and analysis :

- Screening new client and investment opportunities; providing research on target companies, sectors, industries, and geographies

- Evaluating target clients, investment opportunities and management of existing investments

- Analyzing market, sector, company and financial data to develop business development strategies and action plans

- Screening and prioritizing client and investment opportunities, working with senior team members

- Extensive use of various databases including capital IQ and Inframation

- Extracting information from various public sources and conferences

Business development support :

- Planning and supporting the execution of outreach to potential clients and investors

- Preparing client presentations, pitch material and business development content

- Creating and maintaining marketing materials for the firm

- Maintaining the CRM database and book of business

- As a member of a high-performing team working in a fast-paced environment, there will be times where you will be required to work beyond a normal workday or workweek to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.

Your Skills and Experience :

- Relevant 1-4 years of experience in secondary research profile

- Exceptional academic results

- Graduate (BCom/BBA/B.E/Bsc/BTech)

- MBA is an added advantage

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Effective interpersonal skills :

- Independent problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision

- Desire to assume increasing levels of responsibility and seek solutions to complex problems

- Great analytical skills and an eye for detail

- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks

- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced work environment

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
