:

Position: Manager / Senior Manager Statutory Valuation & Management of Participating fund

Location: Mumbai, HO

Technical requirements:

1) Ensuring correctness of Asset Share numbers and providing suggestions for making necessary improvements in the asset share methodology & bonus policy

2) Play key role in annual bonus recommendations and highlight areas which could enhance financial management of the with profit business

3) Responsible for ensuring that the action points arising out of the With Profit Committee are met in a timely manner.

4) Responsible for timely delivery of monthly valuation of policyholder liabilities, analysis of surplus & solvency margin computation with correctness.

5) To have the good understanding of movement of numbers.

6) To manage the timely submission of ARA, other regulatory deliverables and handling the IRDA queries.

7) Managing the requirements of Peer reviewer.

8) Ensuring proper sign-off on the models used for valuation purposes.

Skills:

Following skills / attributes are required for the position:

1) 5-6 years of relevant experience in actuarial domain.

2) Ability to work independently and show initiatives.

3) Thorough understanding of regulations and various actuarial concepts

4) Ability to exercise judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information

5) Managerial skills (ability to manage a team of 4-5 people)

6) Excellent verbal / written communication skills

7) Ability to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams

8) Knowledge of SQL/DCS & any Actuarial software knowledge is mandatory.
