POSITION TITLE: Sales Manager - Affluent Client Acquisition Grade/Level: C12 BUSINESS GROUP: Retail Bank FUNCTION/GROUP: Global Consumer Group DEPARTMENT: Retail Bank - Sales & Distribution
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Business/ Department Objectives: Citigold Private Client and Citigold account acquisitions, Qualified Client growth along with deepening of Wallet through Investment / Insurance / FX penetration in the account Core Responsibilities: Scale up Business - Identify opportunities to expand reach and business footprint.

  • Own the affluent segment in the wealth space by on-boarding Citigold Private Client and Citigold Accounts
  • Early Engagement and Activation of accounts on Investment , Insurance and Fx
  • Optimize cross sell opportunity for credit cards , mortgage and business lending
  • Ensure and drive leads generation through references, micromarketing activities, and other permissible databases.
  • Understand customer needs, explore and educate customer on financial needs arising at various life stages.
Market Intelligence - Understand the industry trends and keep an eye on competition strategy w.r.t to sourcing, technology and innovations Customer Relationship - Customer focused need based selling Deepening of Wallet - Work on initiatives to improve DII, Investment, Insurance penetration and QCG Cross Sell - Ensuring Cross sell of all Products like Cards, Investments and Mortgage Remarkable Client experience - Providing quick resolution & close looping customer queries Controls 1. Monthly reiteration of Dos and Don’ts and create a strong culture of controls and compliance within the team. 2. Keep the team updated on lessons learnt 3. Ensure lowest TAT & FTR for the location 4. Ensure compliance and integrity of the sales process with respect to right selling, sourcing and documentation. People : Drive high performance culture amongst the team and create an environment congenial for people to share best practices for the overall growth of the team. Review people performance in a structured / periodical manner and outline a process to review feedback Identify training opportunities and enable trainings to constantly upskill the team. Manage Attrition Discipline in Trainings; Certifications; HR related time lines adherence Ensure adherence to operational risk controls and accuracy of procedures in day to day sales management Identify business risks and engage with all stakeholders in order to correct them and take preventive/corrective action as appropriate. The transaction comprises the sale of the consumer banking businesses of Citibank India, which includes credit cards, retail banking, wealth management and consumer loans. The transaction also includes the sale of the consumer business of Citi’s non-banking financial company, Citicorp Finance (India) Limited, comprising the asset-backed financing business, which includes commercial vehicle and construction equipment loans, as well as the personal loans portfolio. It excludes Citi’s institutional client businesses in India. Citi remains committed and focused on serving institutional clients in India and globally. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2023 subject to requisite regulatory approvals.
