1. Position Overview

The AET - Structural & Piping will assist the engineering team in structural analysis, piping interface coordination, preparation of drawings, and engineering documentation. The role focuses on supporting senior engineers in design activities and gaining on-the-job learning.

2. Key Responsibilities

Assist in structural analysis and modeling using

STAAD.Pro

under supervision. Support preparation of structural design calculations, models, and reports. Coordinate with the piping team for layout, support requirements, and interface points. Help prepare engineering drawings, BOQs, specifications, and related documentation. Assist in reviewing vendor drawings, technical data sheets, and project inputs. Follow departmental engineering standards, procedures, and quality guidelines. Support in internal reviews, discussions, and project meetings. Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks with attention to detail.

3. Required Skills & Competencies

Basic knowledge of

STAAD.Pro

and structural engineering principles. Understanding of civil/structural design fundamentals. Basic awareness of piping layouts and structural support concepts (added advantage). Good communication skills for effective coordination. Ability to learn quickly, work efficiently, and take guidance from seniors. Strong analytical ability, accuracy, and commitment to task completion.

4. Qualification & Experience

B.E. / M.E. - Civil Engineering

Fresher or up to 1 year of relevant experience

Academic or internship exposure to STAAD.Pro preferred.

6. Reporting To

Section In-Charge / Senior Structural Engineer / Department Head.
