Job Description

A "Manager NPD Aerospace" (New Product Development Manager in Aerospace) is a professional responsible for overseeing the development of new products and components within the aerospace industry, ensuring they meet stringent standards, timelines, and customer requirements. This role typically involves managing projects from concept to initial production, involving cross-functional teams and a deep understanding of aerospace engineering, materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards like AS9100D and ISO 9001. Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Project Management:

Leading new product development projects from concept through launch and initial production ramp-up, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.

Technical Expertise:

Deep knowledge of aerospace systems, structures, materials, and manufacturing processes, including machining, tooling, and lean manufacturing principles.

Quality and Compliance:

Ensuring products meet aerospace standards (AS9100D, ISO 9001), conducting process capability studies, and managing APQP and PPAP processes.

Collaboration:

Working closely with cross-functional teams (design, production, maintenance) and interacting with customers to gather requirements and integrate them into product development.

Software Proficiency:

Familiarity with design software (e.g., SolidWorks), manufacturing software (e.g., Mastercam), and potentially PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter).

Pay: ?80,000.00 - ?120,000.00 per month
