Are you interested in working on cutting-edge drone systems? Do you envision yourself designing and building flying autonomous systems capable of next-gen adventures?

Your job will include conceptualizing and creating the structural and aerodynamic design of all types of drones, using CAD software and simulation tools to ensure performance, safety, and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities include designing components like airframes and propulsion systems, conducting flight and structural analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and performing testing and validation throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

Design and analysis:

Create detailed 3D models of drones and their components using CAD software (Catia, Solidworks, etc). Perform aerodynamic, structural, and stability analysis to evaluate design performance.

Research and development:

Stay current with new technologies and materials to improve drone performance and incorporate innovative features, like sustainable propulsion systems.

Testing and validation:

Conduct flight tests, analyze results, and troubleshoot any mechanical or software issues. Ensure the design meets performance criteria and quality standards.

Compliance

: Ensure designs comply with government regulations and safety guidelines.

Documentation

: Maintain detailed records of design processes, configurations, and test results to facilitate troubleshooting and future development.

Collaboration

: Work with other engineers (software, hardware, electronics), manufacturing teams, and project managers to achieve project goals.

Required skills and qualifications

Education

: A bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering is

necessary

Technical skills:

Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools (Catia, Solidworks, Fusion 360, etc) is

necesary

. Knowledge of aerodynamics, structural mechanics, propulsion systems, and avionics is

crucial

.

Problem-solving:

Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and resolve technical issues.

Software knowledge

: Familiarity with software configuration for flight control systems and onboard computers is a

plus

.

Soft skills:

Strong mathematical and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team or independently

Materials knowledge:

Knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes is

necessary

Ability to work under pressure is critical. You should also be willing to travel as needed.

Pay: ?5,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
