We are looking for a skilled and motivated Advocate with hands-on experience in
Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) matters
. The candidate will represent clients before judicial and quasi-judicial forums and handle drafting, research, and litigation related to
SARFAESI and recovery laws
.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients before
DRT, DRAT, and Consumer Forums
.
Handle appearances, arguments, and procedural compliances before tribunals and forums.
Draft and vet
applications, written statements, replies, petitions, affidavits, and legal notices
.
Manage and handle cases under
SARFAESI Act
, including enforcement proceedings and recovery actions.
Conduct detailed
legal research and case analysis
to support litigation strategy.
Prepare case briefs, maintain case records, and ensure timely filings.
Coordinate with clients, courts, and internal teams for case updates and documentation.
Stay updated with amendments, judgments, and developments in recovery and banking laws.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Law degree (LLB) from a recognized university.
Enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
Minimum 1-2 years of practical experience in DRT matters
.
Strong knowledge of
DRT, DRAT procedures, SARFAESI Act
, and Consumer Protection laws.
Proficient in legal drafting and documentation.
Ability to conduct independent legal research and case analysis.
Good communication, argumentation, and client-handling skills.
Preferred Attributes:
Prior experience in banking, financial institution, or recovery-related matters.
Ability to handle multiple matters and meet strict deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
