Key Responsibilities:
Handle all
litigations
, notices, and legal disputes involving the company -- civil, criminal, commercial, or employment-related.
Draft, review, and vet
contracts, agreements, and legal documents
to ensure compliance and minimize exposure.
Issue and respond to
legal notices
on behalf of the company.
Coordinate and represent the company before
courts, tribunals, and statutory authorities
.
Liaise with
external counsel
, regulatory bodies, and government departments as required.
Conduct internal investigations and provide legal opinions on matters impacting the company's operations.
Safeguard the company's proprietary and confidential information.
Maintain updated knowledge of applicable laws, regulatory changes, and compliance requirements.
Advise management on
preventive legal measures
, risk mitigation, and documentation best practices.
Support HR and Operations teams in disciplinary actions, employee grievances, and compliance with labour laws.
Ensure all company actions, communications, and documentation are legally sound and defensible.
