About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lawyer/Advocate with 4-7 years of hands-on litigation experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate should have strong courtroom exposure, excellent drafting abilities, and a solid understanding of procedural and substantive law. The role involves representing clients before courts and tribunals, handling case strategy, and providing sound legal advice.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients before District Courts, High Courts, and relevant tribunals as required.
Draft and review pleadings, petitions, written statements, affidavits, legal notices, agreements, and other legal documents.
Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare case notes, opinions, and briefs.
Attend hearings, argue interim applications, and assist senior counsel in complex matters.
Formulate litigation strategy and manage case files from initiation to final disposal.
Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, court officials, and other stakeholders.
Ensure timely compliance with court procedures, filing deadlines, and case follow-ups.
Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, risks, and case viability.
Stay updated with legislative changes, case law developments, and relevant legal updates.
Required Qualifications & Skills
LL.B degree from a recognized university; enrolment with State Bar Council.
4-7 years of active litigation experience in courts.
Strong knowledge of procedural laws (CPC, CRPC, Evidence Act) and relevant substantive laws.
Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.
Confident oral advocacy and argument skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and work under pressure.
Professional ethics, courtroom etiquette, and strong client-handling abilities.
