Documentation & Filing:- Draft, type, and file legal documents (pleadings, petitions, affidavits, contracts, etc.). - Maintain and organize case files, court records, and correspondence. - Ensure timely submission of documents to courts, clients, or opposing counsel. 2. Court & Case Management: - Track case schedules, hearing dates, and deadlines. - Prepare briefs, motions, and other court paperwork under the advocate's guidance. - Attend court proceedings to assist with documentation or filings if required. 3. Client Interaction: - Communicate with clients for updates, document collection, or appointment scheduling. - Handle inquiries and relay messages between clients and the advocate. 4. Legal Research: - Assist in researching case laws, statutes, and legal precedents. - Summarize judgments, articles, or reports for the advocate's reference. 5. Administrative Duties: - Manage the advocate's calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements. - Handle billing, invoicing, and fee tracking. - Maintain office supplies and legal databases. 6. Liaison Work: - Coordinate with court staff, other advocates, and government offices. - Serve as a point of contact for procedural follow-ups.
