About the role We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Advisory Manager at this exciting time as we continue to grow our business. • Working with senior leaders in the business to shape, plan and deliver various projects for bespoke clients and situations
• Using your own commercial experience to undertake financial and commercial analysis of client information, forecasts and business plans
• Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations
• Writing and reviewing reports / presentations for a range of clients and stakeholders
• Sharing your experience, coaching and developing other team members
• Interacting with senior levels of management, and exposure to business owners to understand areas such as business performance, regulatory requirements and wider commercial issues, etc
• Dealing with risk management processes and procedures, budgets and compliance on client engagements
• Developing internal and external networks, and adopting a business development mindset

Essential Skills & Experience

• ACA, ACCA, ICAS qualified (or equivalent)
• A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
• Good business writing and Powerpoint skills (eg report writing)
• Strong analytical skills, commercial awareness including use of Excel
• A flexible working style
• Interpersonal skills (mentoring and developing staff, confident interacting with clients and management)
• Excellent communication skills (questioning and listening skills)

Desirable skills

• Experience with Alteryx, Power BI and other data analytics and visualisation tools
• Experience in an advisory environment is preferable
• Passionate about client service
• Ability to independently manage projects, lead teams and adapt to change
• Experience working with or within the regulated financial services sector
• Proactive with regard to self-development
• Wide range of client experience
• We would welcome applications from candidates who have Corporate Finance, Business Restructuring, Insolvency, Regulatory or Forensics experience
