Senior Performance Engineer - Sparta

As a Senior Performance Engineer, you will participate in system design, implement performance scripts, analyze performance results and work with the development teams to address areas of concern. Our products utilize Java, .NET and APEX technologies, leading Business Intelligence technologies, and are deployed in the Cloud (AWS, Salesforce) and On-Premises.

This role requires someone who is technically strong, energetic, highly collaborative, and passionate about delivering quality products. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to think analytically and clearly articulate results and findings to others.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the performance and scalability activities of our software systems
• Design, script, configure and execute performance tests
• Identify and analyze potential performance issues throughout the entire software stack
• Diagnose, track and manage performance issues to resolution
• Participate and represent performance and scaling needs in feature design with sprint team members including architects, developers, quality engineers, and product owners

• 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a Performance Engineer
• 3+ Experience with Agile Scrum Product development
• 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with profiling tools like Neoload, LoadRunner, JMeter, Fiddler
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

• Solid understanding of Microservices and Web Application Protocols
• Understanding of Salesforce administration and profiling Apex code
• Experience working with Cloud computing services and frameworks, AWS preferred
