As an Advanced Software Engineer - DevOps Engineer here at Honeywell Connected Enterprise (HCE), you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software systems. You will be accountable for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary for the smooth operation in on-premise and hybrid environments.

Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and tools necessary for the smooth operation in on-premise and hybrid environments Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across on-premise and hybrid environments Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment processes. Work with development teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of software systems Implement and monitor system performance metrics, proactively identifying and resolving issues Drive continuous improvement in system reliability and operational efficiency through automation and process enhancements Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of issues Optimize cost and performance of resources deployed to on-premise and hybrid environments Maintain configuration management and version control systems Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps Ensure security best practices are followed in infrastructure and deployment processes Implement and maintain container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes)

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Strong experience in on-premise infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage) Strong Windows and Linux fundamentals Strong experience with CI/CD tooling such as Git, Github Actions, Bamboo Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell) Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools Excellent communication and collaboration skills Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies
