Overall responsibilities and duties:
The Software requirement engineer oversees the deriving SW requirements from System requirements. Requirements elicitation, integration into the baseline, follow-up of their analysis (feasibility and verifiability) by core-teams and traceability through all the development cycle. SW Requirement engineer is also responsible for providing the Implementation status and bidirectional traceability for each milestone for the assigned feature.
