Advanced Sales Consultant, MMSD Advanced and Internal Sales Full-Time – Hybrid or REMOTE US The Opportunity MassMutual Strategic Distributors is looking for an experienced and passionate individual with Advanced Sales experience and exceptional presentation skills. Candidates should have a strong desire to help millions of people find financial freedom, offer financial protection and plan for the future. The Team The Advanced Sales Consultant at MassMutual Strategic Distributors joins a team of talented professionals who work with distributors in the third party/independent/broker general agent space to sell our Whole Life and Variable Universal Life, Universal Life, and Term products through financial advisors and independent agents. MassMutual Strategic Distributors (MMSD) is MassMutual’s dedicated, third-party distribution channel focused on building on strong relationships and forging new ones with experienced financial firms and professionals. With a diverse and relevant portfolio, including whole life insurance, disability income insurance, fixed annuities, and hybrid life/long-term care insurance, MMSD is partnering with hundreds of financial firms to meet customers where they are with the financial solutions they need. The Impact You will develop and travel around the U.S. conducting in person and virtual presentations on advanced sales topics such as: planning for high-net-worth individuals (estate and trusts, retirement, long term care, disability, etc.) and business planning (buy-sell strategies, executive compensation planning, key person insurance, split dollar etc.). Drive the creation of innovative positioning and advanced concepts that utilize MassMutual products and solutions. Monitor tax and legislative developments and create training material for our wholesalers and distribution customers. The Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in Advanced Sales or equivalent experience.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • Currently holds Series 6 or 7 and 63 or 66 licenses, or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Strong knowledge of life and disability insurance products preferred along with the tax and legal issues surrounding ownership of these products.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills, and sales and influence skills.
  • Demonstrated client relationship skills.
  • Excellent Power Point and Excel skills required.
  • **Willing to travel 50%-75% of the time.
The Ideal Qualifications

  • CPA license and/or CFP/CLU/ChFC designations

Salary Range
  • $134,400 – $176,400 + Annual Bonus ***Commensurate with experience
