Summary The Advanced Lead Engineer is an individual contributor 'hardware owning' engineer reporting to an Engineering Manager within the Aerospace Engineering Division's Integrated Manufacturing Engineering team. As a hardware owner you will own all engineering functions related to the production of assigned Commercial and Aero-derivative components in the Combustors and Structures commodities.In this role, you will be on the front lines of an organization that is dedicated to improving the producibility, enhancing the Engineering-Supply chain relationship, and using SQDC to dramatically improve the health of the supply chain and product to enable the business to fulfil our customers' expectations.Examples of specific tasks you will be responsible for are: producibility design changes, on-going manufacturing support, and strategic improvements across Castings, Forgings, Machining, and Coatings for the assigned commodity.You will also be responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline.
