Honeywell Instruments & GAS Meter Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer at Advanced Hardware Engineer level to support our work developing products in Instruments & Gas Meters portfolio. / PMC \xe2\x80\x93 Process, measurement and control systems HW Lead, HW Architect Responsibilities are

• Plan and execute project subtasks (designing, testing, etc.)

• Lead all technical discussions, collaborate with Sourcing & Production teams, and make sure all supply chain issues get addressed

• Guide engineers and associates to ensure project and product compliance

• Conduct regular reviews and Present to Program managers

• Consult with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance

• Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements by applying advanced electrical engineering knowledge and principles

• Deep understanding of a variety of hardware engineering standards and specifications used across Instrumentation & metering industry

• Ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions

• Ability to consistently make timely decisions

• Capability to follow guidelines and ensure efficiency on given project tasks

Required Skills:

• Experience on Microprocessors & Microcontrollers-based product designs, HW architectures and circuit designs

• Excellent knowledge in Power Supplies Designs, DC-DC Circuits & Voltage regulators

• Experience in Analog / Digital & Mix signal circuit designs.

• Design knowledge on different communications UART, RS422, RS485, I2C, SPI, CAN, USB, Ethernet.

• Experience in circuit simulators and analysis tools \xe2\x80\x93 SPICE, PSPICE and HSPICE

• Good understanding of different product development stages, Manufacturing and EMI/EMC, Environmental and Safety Testing and Certifications.

• Familiar with Standards IEC, EN, CISPR.

• Experience in WIFI, Bluetooth, GSM, GPRS, 4G & 5G, LTE, ISM band RF communications and IoT technologies preferred.

• Experience in Electronics hardware design and testing, Experience in using the hardware testing equipment, Multimeter, Oscilloscopes, Signal generators, Logic analyzers etc.

• Exposure to VECE engineering activities preferred.

• Good understanding about Sensor technologies

• Experience in Schematics design & capture tools, PCB layout guidelines, Review of layout, Board bring up activities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Highly self-motivated, Focus on Results, Sense of urgency & willing to take ownership.

• Exposure to SAP/PDM /Teamcenter aspects

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical Engineering (EEE)or equivalent. BE/BTech /AMIE/IEEE , Electronics & Communication Engg (ECE)
• 9+ years Embedded Hardware design / Product development experience (Minimum) \xe2\x80\x93 Max 13/14 years
