Summary Engineer - Tools & Equipment The Tooling Engineer works on equipment support activities, design coordination, bill of materials, managing FAT/SAT documentation in the system. Is a part of a global tooling team and shall work on tools & equipment for manufacturing wind turbine blades. The engineer may need to support plants (OPS) spread across globally as a global team member of tooling & equipment. Role and Responsibilities Work on design activities, technical tasks of tools and equipment projects in mechanical/electrical engineering areas Create/update FAT, SAT and other technical documentation of tools & equipment in PDM systems Creation of item numbers, update & maintain BoM in the respective ERP systems Responsible for the ERP and Teamcenter activities and regularization of documents in the system Make decisions and resolve issues within the defined framework with good technical knowledge and judgment in compliance with LM standards Deliver adhering to LM\'s project manual and stage gate model and work towards the cradle to grave ownership of tool as per the tooling matrix for the function Comply to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements to carry out standard work and record/advocate best practices Bring to the notice of seniors and consult them for issues outside the scope/parameters Improve skillset in the specialized technical fields by building knowledge of own technical discipline Use basic understanding of key business drivers to accomplish own work Be a team player and integrate with team members and other teams to improve collaboration and delivery. Required Qualifications: Desired candidate shall hold a Diploma/Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent 5+ years of practical & hands-on experience related to design/development, BoM creation, ERP and PDM systems Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic areas is desirable Good spoken and written ability in English Knowledge and Skills: Teamcenter (PLM), Axapta (ERP), Engineering Change Management (ECM/ECN) Cad tools: AutoCAD, Catia, SolidWorks, NX Knowledge on automation, blade manufacturing equipment and industrialization.
