Manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.

Roles and Responsibilities

Import & Local Buyer knowledge - Place and follow-up on POs. Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes. Update ERP. Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area. Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters. Manage all the Supply chain KPIs like sending orders on time, obtaining Order confirmation, forecasting monthly, scheduling calls with suppliers, Handling various situations in supply chain Using knowledge of BOM, MRP, S&OP & Sourcing to execute the Procurement work To collaborate with warehouse, Manage the Lowest Days of Inventory & ensuring no line stoppages due to supply of material from supplier Saving Freight costs by optimizing Import shipments

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Engineering in Mechanical / Polymer Science with 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing org. Blade manufacturing domain desired

Desired Characteristics

Strong verbal oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
