Innovate to solve the world\'s most important challenges Reporting to the Sr Cloud Dev Manager, this role will analyze & optimize Honeywell\'s Application Portfolios to drive adoption of cloud computing solutions including CaaS, PaaS & IaaS. Role will be responsible for application full stack Architecture, Design, Development & Deployment across Honeywell\'s Cloud landscape. This is a key role enabling reduction of our on-premises application footprint & Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while meeting compliance, security & business requirements. Key Responsibilities .Lead the Business functional applications portfolios cloud adoption to Honeywell Internal/External PaaS / IaaS / CaaS / FaaS / DBaaS technologies based on Honeywell\'s Cloud first strategy, Business requirements and ROI. .Lead a team to Analyze & adopt Retain Enterprise COTS & Custom J2EE / .NET applications to Honeywell Public Cloud IaaS/PaaS/Kubernetes Clusters /DBaaS. .Partner with application owners, BFA domain leaders , IT business partners ,SME\'s, IT Portfolio leaders, IT cloud architects and IT Cloud Operations to review cloud business cases to transform current application design to cloud enabled patterns. .Hands-on experience in deploying applications in CaaS - Docker, Kubernetes platforms. Preferably in AWS Beanstalk and/or Red Hat Openshift .Actively facilitate and drive Cloud technology decisions in collaboration with Data Center Architects, Solutioning Architects Cloud Architects within the organization and drive \'Cloud First\' strategy. .Collaborate with AWS, Red Hat Openshift, Azure architects Internal and externally .Facilitate/build-in DevOps CI/CD model for applications using Git-hub, Jenkins etc. .Deliver monthly app cloud adoption metrics and value creation cost savings to leadership Basic Qualifications .Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science or related discipline . 7+ years IT experience with application design and architecture background . 3+ years Architecting, designing and developing applications in Azure / AWS cloud platforms. .Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, cloud analytics and containerization .Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow-through with exceptional verbal and written communication .Deep technical experience in one or more of following areas: Application Design, Software Development, Systems Operations, Database Architecture, Storage & IT security. .Understanding of fault tolerant cloud-native applications leveraging API\'s, micro-services, containerization, auto-scaling, service orchestration and infrastructure as code deployment models. .Knowledge of one or more PaaS platforms including migration to those platforms Red Hat Openshift / PCF/ Azure/ AWS PaaS. .Working knowledge with AGILE development, SCRUM and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) with one or more of the following programming languages: .NET, Java, Python, PHP & also Powershell scripting. .Working Knowledge of Azure DevOps is highly desirable. .Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to a variety of audiences at different levels in the organization.
