The Position As an Advanced Business Analyst II - Cloud Engineer, you will help build cloud solutions to facilitate digital science and innovation for the Research & Early Development (R&ED) area in Novo Nordisk. Build capability for automated deployment of cloud solutions (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IAC). You will be entrusted with the below responsibilities: Design and engineer scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions for computational research. Build experience and knowledge of new technologies that can enhance our computational research solutions. Optimize solutions for efficient resource utilization, parallel processing, and high throughput, including security protocols, access controls, and data protection measures. Work closely with DD&IT engineering teams and professionals to develop standards and partake in core technology initiatives to ensure Research & Development requirements are captured and developed. Assist in establishing proof-of-concept (POC) research solutions with new technologies. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in relevant field with minimum 3-5 years of experience working with engineering solutions for the cloud. Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions, with a deep understanding of major cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Solid understanding of API integrations and experience working with RESTful APIs and frameworks for seamless integration with other systems. Proficiency in building and deploying cloud solutions using automation tools and methodologies (CI/CD) and experience with IAC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK (Cloud Development Kit) to provision and manage cloud resources. Demonstrated ability to architect, develop, and optimize cloud-native applications, leveraging cloud services and serverless computing technologies. Familiarity with identity and access management systems, particularly experience working with Okta or similar authentication and authorization providers. Strong programming skills in languages commonly used in cloud environments, such as Python, Java, or Node.js. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges in cloud solutions. About the department Digital Data & IT GBS (Global Business Service) was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Digital Data & IT in HQ (Head Quarter). From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 800+ employees till date. The main role of DD&IT GBS is to \'manage\' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management, etc. In DDIT RED GBS, we partner globally with R&ED LoB to achieve scientific aspiration. We provide timely, best in class, regulated and non-regulated IT solutions, infrastructure, and system management across the R&ED value chain. We manage more than 20+ IT systems and the department consists of Agile DevOps members, System Managers, Validation SMEs, cloud engineers and Business Analysts.
