Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Commercial Analytics Associate to join our Advanced Analytics Team as an Individual Contributor. This role involves supporting the development of statistical, econometric, and mathematical models to solve complex business problems, with a focus on: Marketing Mix Modeling and Customer and Brand Performance Analytics


You will collaborate with internal stakeholders across global Business Units and external clients to gather business requirements, understand project objectives, and deliver high-quality analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform data manipulation, analysis, and reporting using large-scale sales and physician-level datasets Select and apply appropriate technologies (Excel, SAS, Python, etc.) for efficient data processing Work independently with full ownership of tasks, timelines, and outcomes Apply advanced analytical techniques such as regression, clustering, decision trees, PCA, and time series analysis Communicate project outputs, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders Develop expertise in IQVIA's proprietary databases, methodologies, and analytical frameworks Ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs with proper documentation Present insights in a business-relevant context through effective written and verbal communication Demonstrate adaptability, quick learning, and openness to new technologies and domain knowledge

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Mining, Operations Research

OR


B.Tech / MBA with relevant experience
1-3 years of experience in analytics Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, R, Python, SQL, and SAS Hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as regression (linear & logistic), PCA, factor analysis, clustering, decision trees, random forest, and time series analysis Familiarity with pharmaceutical domain concepts and healthcare market dynamics Self-motivated, flexible, and capable of working independently
