A Day in the Life

• The Individual will attend team meetings & weekly project status meetings .
• Ensuring on-time deliverables for should cost projects.
• The individual has to participate into Scoping calls to gather information on the should cost Project.
• The individual will
• The individual will Work closely with Analytics Team and Category Leaders to provide data analysis aligned with key initiatives
• Plan, develop, and execute cost analytic strategies with various business units, category managers or functional leads.
• Ability to follow up with business leaders, category managers and GSM Team on negotiation and savings accomplishments
• Ability to work effectively with Should cost team .

Flexible to work during US office Hour

Must Have

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Electronics & Communications/etc.
• 7-10 years' experience in manufacturing/sourcing/engineering/pricing/cost-management or other cost/data analytics field.
• Experience in Embedded systems (PCB/PCBA), electrical circuits, manufacturing of Rigid & Flex PCB/PCBAs.
• Experience in Electro-Mechnical components, wireharness, cables should cost analysis.
• Ability to understand manufacturing process of Medical/Electronics Devices .
• Experience in Si Wafer manufacturing or IC manufacturing will add advantage.
• Experience in Interacting with Suppliers & Internal teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent time management and professionalism.
• Ensure seamless communication across Medtronic Engineering & Innovation Center, Global BUs and Global functions
• Ability to effectively work with crossfunctional teams and coordinate with others.
• Ability to read 2D and 3D drawings (Experience with CAD software)
• Knowledge on various Should Cost Analysis Softwares/Tools e.g - aPriori, Mckinsey Cleansheet etc.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge on various Should Cost Analysis Softwares/Tools e.g - aPriori, Mckinsey Cleansheet etc.
• Able to perform supplier pricing/Costing analysis and develop plans to reduce cost
• Value Analysis Value Engineering experience to drive value and cost improvement
• Experience in regulated industries like Aerospace or Medical
• Some familiarity with analytics and reporting tools: Zycus, Power BI, SQL, MS-Access
• Ability to work with little direction and supervision, manage timelines and expectations, adjust for unplanned assignments, and adapt to changing priorities
