Develop software to review, analyze, classify and perform follow up activities on all product complaints relative to the identity, quality, reliability, safety and effectiveness of medical devices. Software will evaluates for reporting criteria to Government Agencies to determine if the event reasonably suggests a device may have or could have caused or contributed to a death or serious injury.

Write Investigation Summaries based on technical product analysis information provided by the plant.

A Day in the Life

Create, maintain software product that helps handle customer complaints

An individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies. Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies \xe2\x80\x93 from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills.

\xc2\xb7 Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned

\xc2\xb7 Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities

\xc2\xb7 Determines systems software design requirements

\xc2\xb7 Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency

\xc2\xb7 Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures

\xc2\xb7 May work across a variety of software lifecycle activities as determined by program needs.

Minimum Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor degree; Engineering or Science degrees preferred (e.g. SW,EE, Biomedical Engineering)

\xc2\xb7 4+ years software development, quality assurance experience in medical or pharmaceutical industry.

\xc2\xb7 Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

\xc2\xb7 SAP Business Objects Knowledge/experience

\xc2\xb7 Ability to turn customer requests into technical requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently once trained.

\xc2\xb7 Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team oriented environment

\xc2\xb7 Ability to be proactive and lead initiatives technically

\xc2\xb7 Ability to multitask.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum travel may be required

Strongly desired:

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Medtronic GCH Reporting Data

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with navigating Power BI Dashboards
