A Day in the Life

• Under the direction of Strategic Sourcing Manager with guidance from Director Strategic Sourcing, the Predictive Cost Analyst will successfully Build Pedictive Cost Models & Target price analysis in alignment with the Commodity & Cost Intelligence strategy.
• The individual will
• The individual will Work closely with Operating Units and Category Leaders to provide data analysis aligned with key initiatives
• The individual will also develop business cases to support key cost down initiatives through Cost gap analysis, recommended process improvements etc.
• The analyst will support routine reporting for Enterprise Metrics/different Dashboards in alignment with the Supply Management Solutions strategy.

• Plan, develop, and execute Predictive cost analytic strategies working with various Operating units, category managers or functional leads
• Ability to effectively work with a team and to influence others
• Flexible to work during US office Hours

Must Have

• Experience in Sourcing/Supply chain Management
• Experience in Interacting with cross functional teams
• Knowledge on Product cost drivers
• Experience in formation of data grouping and identifying the correlation between the groups, Data mining, regression analysis
• Experiece in statistical tools likeMinitab and Power BI or similar tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent time management and professionalism
• Ensure seamless communication across, Operating Units, Category management and other functions
• Ability to effectively work with a team and to influence others
• Ability to read 2D and 3D drawings (Experience with CAD software)
• Ability to do Should cost analysis
• Demonstrated knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Engineering in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing
• 3-6 years experience in manufacturing/sourcing/pricing/cost-management, out of which at least 2 years in to Predictive cost/data analytics field.

Preferred Qualification

• MS/MTech. in Industrial Engineering
• MS or MBA or Studying in Supply Chain Management or Supply Management

Nice to Have

• Able to perform supplier pricing/Costing analysis and develop plans to reduce cost
• Work experience with US teams
• Value Analysis Value Engineering experience to drive value and cost improvement
• Lean Six-Sigma training and/or Green belt certified.
• Proficient in presenting Global Teams in English
• Experience in regulated industries like Aerospace or Medical
• Familiarity with big data concepts and principles
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP software system
• Some familiarity with analytics and reporting tools: SQL, MS-Access
• Ability to work with little direction and supervision, manage timelines and expectations, adjust for unplanned assignments, and adapt to changing priorities
