About the Department
The Finance & Procurement GBS team is at the heart of ensuring the "house is in order." Based in Bangalore, the team strengthens local cross-functional processes, drives robust compliance, and ensures process adherence across the GBS. As a strategic Finance and Procurement partner to the business, the team fosters a collaborative and dynamic atmosphere, where your contributions will directly impact the organisation's success.

The Position
As an Advanced Sourcing Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will:

• Lead end-to-end sourcing events (RFP/RFQ/RFI), manage high-value negotiations, and drive competitive outcomes.
• Collaborate with Procurement/Category Managers to develop category strategies, supplier roadmaps, and long-term cost/value optimisation plans.
• Build cost models, TCO frameworks, and business cases to support award decisions.
• Conduct supplier assessments, manage supplier performance scorecards, and drive improvement programmes.
• Lead commercial discussions and coordinate with Legal teams to finalise contracts, MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, and pricing agreements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit readiness, and internal controls.
• Analyse spend patterns, identify sourcing opportunities, and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and influence commercial decisions.
• Champion process excellence, digital transformation, and adoption of e-sourcing tools.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
Need to have: - 8-10 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing or Procurement. - Proven experience managing complex, high-value sourcing events across indirect categories (e.g., IT services, professional services, facilities, marketing, HR, travel). - Strong commercial negotiation skills and advanced understanding of procurement cost levers. - Expertise in Excel modelling, analytics, scenario analysis, and PowerPoint storytelling. - Hands-on experience with e-sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, SAP). - Solid knowledge of contract structures, SLAs, KPIs, risk management, and compliance. Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
Nice to have: Certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP. - Experience in global organisations, GCCs, shared services, or fast-paced procurement environments.
