Job Description

Job Title: Training Manager - Product Location: Noida, Sector 62Experience Required: 6-10 years in Product Training, Trade Marketing, or Sales EnablementIndustry Preference: Laminates, Building Materials, FMCG, Consumer Durables, Paints, Electricals, Hardware, etc.Job Purpose:To lead the product training function by designing and delivering high-impact training programs that enhance product knowledge, marketing understanding, and selling capability across the field sales teams, channel partners, and influencer networks.Key Responsibilities :Product Training & Sales Enablement :- Design and deliver structured product training modules aligned with marketing objectives and business strategy.- Educate sales teams on product USP, competitive edge, pricing strategy, application areas, and brand positioning.- Create training content that links product features with marketing insights and customer benefits and resolving the queries being raised by the Influencers.Content Development : - Develop engaging training content including product videos, visual aids, competitive battle cards, market insights, and application demos.- Design modules for both offline and digital delivery (LMS, video, webinars, microlearning tools).Marketing Integration- Work closely with the Marketing team to align training content with ongoing campaigns, seasonal promotions, product launches, and branding initiatives.- Train sales and channel teams on marketing concepts such as brand communication, demand generation, merchandising, and influencer engagement.New Product Launch Training- Lead training for all new product launches, ensuring timely and complete understanding of the new offering, target customer, positioning, and sales pitch.Field-Level Training- Conduct in-market product & marketing sessions for front-line sales teams, dealers, distributors, architects, carpenters, or applicators depending on product category.- Identify training needs through field visits, surveys and align programs accordingly.Assessment & Certification- Design evaluation tools and certification processes to assess knowledge retention and practical application of product and marketing concepts.Feedback & Improvement- Gather training feedback from participants and line managers to refine content and delivery.- Measure training effectiveness via impact on product sales, new product penetration, and market share improvement.Key Skills & Competencies:- Strong understanding of product marketing, consumer behavior, and positioning strategies- Excellent presentation, communication & facilitation skills- Training content development & instructional design- Ability to connect technical details to business benefits- Field orientation with stakeholder engagement ability- Digital training tools & LMS proficiency- Data-driven approach to evaluating training impactQualifications:- MBA in Marketing / HR / L&D (Preferred)- Certification in Training / Instructional Design is an advantageAdditional Requirements:- Willing to travel pan-India for field training and product roll-outs- Should be proficient in English & Hindi Language.
