Your Team

You will be joining the Investment data risk and performance technology (IDRP) team in the Investments technology department. This role is within the DIAL squad (Data integration and access layer), where you will collaborate with our colleagues in the business and technology to empower Invesco investment teams with accurate and insightful data. Your Role

You will join a global squad who design, develop and support user interface solutions. In addition to technical implementations, you will partner with the business, other technology teams and vendors to ensure successful outcomes for our processes. As part of a results-oriented group you are encouraged to explore innovative solutions to problems, while balancing the needs of a fast-paced and exciting business environment with our goals for lightweight, reliable and scalable technical solutions.
You Will Be Responsible For:Translate wireframes and prototypes into responsive, pixel-perfect web interfaces Collaborate with UX designers to refine user flows and interactions Develop reusable UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, etc.) Ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve designs Maintain design consistency across products and platforms Stay updated with UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices Work directly with the global business partners and stakeholders to understand data Work within a team of software developers and business analysts focused to deliver technical solutions to business partners Complete all tasks related to technical analysis, building and unit testing, quality assurance, system test and implementation in accordance with the Agile working model. Conform to documentation, coding and quality standards as defined. Understand client business and make recommendations and technology suggestions to solve problems and improve efficiency. Understand and propose architecture of applications in order to effectively troubleshoot problems and develop more efficient production processes Be prepared to carry out business analysis tasks to ensure that the development/change meets user requirements and expectations Should be willing to adopt Open source technologies Should be willing to Upskill and guide junior members in the team Prepare for and support user acceptance testing Prepare all necessary documentation and processes to enable ongoing support of the systems Handle escalations from the support teams Should carry the on-call phone on a rotation basis

The Experience You Bring:3-5 years of experience in UI/UX development Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles Experience with front-end frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and usability Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision Ability to work with REST APIs and integrate backend services Familiarity with Git and Bitbucket. Good communication and problem-solving skills Good to have knowledge in AWS (S3, lambda, Glue, etc.), Snowflake, DBT and Airflow.

FORMAL EDUCATION: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)Bachelors / master's in computer science or other similar advanced degrees from a top tier educational institution preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:Normal office environment with a little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary Work hours will be from 11:30AM to 8:30 PM IST and may include evenings and/or weekends Should carry the on-call phone on a rotation basis
