Role : Admission officer or Senior Admission Officer BAND: M1
Role Overview
As an Admission Officer / Senior Admission Officer, you will be the bridge between students'
aspirations and our academic programs. This role goes beyond admissions -- it's about guiding
students to make informed career decisions, building lasting relationships, and ensuring a smooth
transition throughout their academic journey. You will be responsible for counseling, driving
admissions growth, and maintaining compliance while delivering an exceptional experience to every
student.
Responsibilities
Career Guidance & Counseling
Engage with prospective students and their families to understand aspirations and
recommend suitable academic programs.
Provide clear, comprehensive information that builds trust and inspires interest in our
offerings.
Student Lifecycle Management & Admissions
Manage the complete student journey: prospecting, counseling, admission, orientation, and
ongoing support.
Drive conversions by achieving and exceeding weekly and monthly admission targets.
Oversee fee structures and ensure accurate management of the fee software for various
programs.
Compliance & Internal Processes
Adhere to institutional policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and admissions activities.
Effective Communication & Engagement
Build strong relationships through timely follow-ups, both online and offline.
Handle inbound/outbound calls and walk-in inquiries with professionalism to maximize
conversion rates.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
Empathy, patience, and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
Prior experience in student counseling, academic advisory, or admissions will be an
advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
Energetic, motivated, and proactive with a results-oriented attitude.
