Job Description

A school's Assistant General Manager(AGM)/ Counsellor or Branch Manager's key responsibilities include

leading staff

through training and performance management,

overseeing operations

like admissions and academics,

managing finances

by handling the budget and ensuring profitability, and

ensuring overall school growth

by developing strategic plans and fostering community relations. Operational management

Daily operations:

Ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the school.

Compliance:

Ensure the school adheres to all company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.

Student services:

Oversee student and parent inquiries, and resolve any issues promptly.
Staff and leadership

Team management:

Hire, train, evaluate, and motivate staff to maintain high performance and a positive work environment.

Communication:

Conduct regular meetings to brief staff on goals, promotions, and other relevant information.

Development:

Identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and development opportunities to staff.
Financial management

Budgeting:

Develop and manage the branch's budget, allocating funds and managing financial objectives.

Performance:

Monitor financial performance and report on the branch's financial health.

Growth:

Work to meet or exceed the school's financial goals and metrics.
Strategic planning and development

Business strategy:

Develop and execute business plans and strategies to meet sales targets and business objectives.

Market analysis:

Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective opportunities.

Marketing:

Organize marketing activities and promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness within the community.

Relationships:

Build and nurture relationships with parents, vendors, and the wider community to support the school's growth.
