We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Admission Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing them with essential information about our programs, and helping them make informed decisions about their educational journey. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to student success, and the ability to work collaboratively within the university environment.

Duties

Conduct outreach and recruitment activities to attract prospective students. Provide academic advising and support throughout the admission process. Educate potential students about program offerings, admission requirements, and campus resources. Utilize Ellucian software for managing student data and tracking admissions processes. Engage in public speaking at events, workshops, and information sessions to promote the university. Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the admissions experience for students. Maintain relationships with high schools and community organizations to foster partnerships. Assist in organizing recruitment events and campus tours for prospective students.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education Administration or a related field preferred. Experience working with students in an academic setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of academic advising principles and practices. Familiarity with Ellucian or similar student information systems is a plus. Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. A genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their goals.
