Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Admission Counselor to guide students through the admission process for studying abroad. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in university admissions across multiple countries, understanding of fee structures, visa procedures, and financial planning, and proficiency in MS Office. This role will require the counselor to work closely with students, parents, and educational institutions to provide tailored advice, ensuring a smooth and successful admission journey.

Responsibilities:

Student Counseling:

Provide personalized advice and support to students interested in studying abroad. Assist in selecting suitable universities and programs based on academic achievements, interests, and career goals.

Tele & Video Counseling:

Conduct effective counseling sessions via phone and video calls, addressing student and parent inquiries and concerns with empathy and clarity.

Webinar Presentations:

Organize and present informative webinars on studying abroad, covering topics such as university admissions, scholarships, visa procedures, and financial planning.

Application Assistance:

Guide students through the application process, including help with completing forms, crafting personal statements, and ensuring timely submission of all documents.

Follow-up:

Maintain ongoing communication with prospective students, keeping them engaged and informed throughout the entire admissions process.

Market Research:

Stay current with trends and updates on global education, including university rankings, course options, and visa requirements across different countries, ensuring students receive accurate and up-to-date information.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of student interactions and ensure all necessary documentation is correctly submitted and within deadlines.

Collaboration:

Work closely with admissions and marketing teams to coordinate student recruitment efforts, enhancing the chances of successful enrollments.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Global Education:

In-depth understanding of international university systems, including popular courses, university requirements, and visa procedures in various countries and continents.

Tele & Video Counseling Skills:

Proven experience in conducting empathetic and effective counseling sessions via phone and video.

Webinar Presentation Skills:

Strong ability to create and deliver engaging presentations to large audiences, including students and parents.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex information to diverse audiences.

Interpersonal Skills:

A natural ability to build rapport with students and parents, addressing concerns and providing customized advice.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to analyze student challenges and provide practical, tailored solutions.

Time Management:

Proficiency in managing multiple students and tasks simultaneously while ensuring timely follow-ups and support.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field. Prior experience in student counseling or a similar role is highly preferred. Familiarity with university application processes, visa procedures, and financial planning for international students. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
