Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Admission Coordinator
to join our team. The Admission Coordinator will manage student inquiries, coordinate admission procedures, ensure smooth documentation flow, and support the end-to-end enrollment process. This role focuses more on
coordination, process management, and student support
rather than direct counseling alone.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Inquiry Handling
Manage and respond to student inquiries via calls, walk-ins, emails, and online platforms.
Share accurate information about courses, colleges, universities, and admission timelines.
Admission Process Coordination
Assist students with application forms, documentation, and eligibility checks.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing of applications and enrollments.
Track admission status and ensure timely updates to students and parents.
Lead Management & Follow-up
Maintain regular follow-up with prospective students through calls, emails, and messages.
Update and manage records in CRM or tracking systems.
Support in converting leads to admissions by ensuring a seamless experience.
Operational & Administrative Support
Organize, manage, and update admission logs, reports, and documents.
Ensure compliance with institutional admission guidelines and standards.
Prepare daily/weekly reports on inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions.
Event & Activity Support
Assist in organizing admission drives, seminars, webinars, and promotional activities.
Support the counseling and marketing teams during peak admission periods.
Required Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and coordination abilities.
Good follow-up skills and a proactive approach.
Ability to handle student queries with patience and clarity.
Strong convincing and presentation skills (preferred).
Basic knowledge of education systems, courses, and admission processes (preferred).
Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any field (Education, Management, or Counseling-related background preferred).
Prior experience in admissions, coordination, or academic administration is a plus.
Freshers with strong communication and organizational skills are welcome.
