The Admission Advisor is responsible for guiding prospective and current students in academic, personal, and career-related matters. The role involves providing accurate information about courses, assisting with admissions, and supporting students throughout their academic journey to ensure their overall well-being and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Counselling & Guidance
Provide academic and career counselling to students and parents.
Understand student needs, interests, and goals to recommend suitable programs or courses.
Offer motivational support to help students cope with academic pressure and personal challenges.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all counselling interactions.
Admissions Support
Respond to enquiries (walk-ins, calls, emails, or social media) regarding programs and admission procedures.
Assist in the student admission process, including documentation, form filling, and interview
coordination.
Follow up with potential applicants to convert leads into admissions.
Participate in admission drives, open houses, and orientation programs.
Communication & Coordination
Maintain regular contact with students and parents to provide updates and resolve queries.
Coordinate with faculty, academic coordinators, and administration teams to ensure smooth student
experience.
Maintain detailed student counselling records and update CRM or database systems.
Career & Personal Development
Conduct workshops or sessions on topics such as time management, goal setting, and study skills.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare periodic reports on counselling activities, conversion ratios, and student feedback.
Ensure all student records are accurate and up to date.
Qualifications & Skills:
Master's Degree (MBA)
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathetic, patient, and student-focused attitude.
Proficiency in MS Office.
