We are seeking a proactive and approachable Admission Officer to oversee the student admissions process and serve as the first touchpoint for prospective students and families. The ideal candidate will combine excellent communication skills with strong organizational abilities to ensure a smooth, transparent, and positive enrollment experience.
Key Responsibilities
Inquiry Management
Engage with prospective students and parents via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Provide clear and accurate information on programs, eligibility criteria, and admission procedures.
Application Processing
Review and verify applications for accuracy and completeness.
Track document submissions and ensure timely follow-up for pending requirements.
Admission Support
Guide applicants throughout the enrollment journey with personalized assistance.
Address queries promptly to enhance overall applicant satisfaction.
Event Coordination
Plan and support admission-related activities such as open houses, campus visits, and orientations.
Represent the institution at education fairs and outreach events.
Data & Reporting
Maintain and update applicant records in CRM systems.
Prepare reports to track admissions progress, trends, and targets.
Policy & Compliance
Ensure adherence to institutional policies and educational regulations.
Stay informed on updates and incorporate them into the admissions process.
Collaboration
Partner with the marketing team on outreach and promotional initiatives.
Coordinate with academic departments to resolve applicant queries effectively.
Continuous Improvement
Gather feedback from applicants and newly enrolled students.
Recommend process improvements to enhance the admissions experience.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Commerce background preferred).
Prior experience in admissions, counseling, or customer service roles preferred.
Essential Skills
Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Malayalam is an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service orientation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
Calm, professional, and effective under pressure.
