The Admission Executive is responsible for managing the entire student admission process -- from initial enquiry to final enrollment. The role involves counselling prospective students and parents, coordinating admission events, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that admission targets are met while upholding the institution's standards of service and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle student enquiries through calls, emails, walk-ins, and online channels.
Provide detailed and accurate information about the university's programs, eligibility, admission process, and fee structure.
Counsel prospective students and parents to guide them toward suitable programs based on their interests and qualifications.
Follow up systematically with leads and maintain proper communication until conversion.
Coordinate and assist in organizing admission events, open houses, school visits, education fairs, and counselling sessions.
Manage application documentation -- verify eligibility, ensure completeness, and coordinate with the admission committee for approvals.
Maintain accurate data in the CRM/admission management system.
Liaise with academic departments for seat availability, course updates, and interview scheduling.
Contribute to achieving the admission targets set for each academic cycle.
Support marketing initiatives by sharing insights from student interactions and trends in enquiries.
Ensure excellent customer service and uphold the university's brand image at all times.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's preferred).
1-3 years of experience in admissions, counselling, or customer service (education sector preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong persuasion, coordination, and follow-up abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/admission software.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Positive attitude, patience, and a student-centric approach.
