Admission Counsellor guides prospective students through the enrollment process, providing information about academic programs, eligibility, and admission procedures. They assist in form filling, documentation, and interview scheduling while ensuring a smooth admission experience. The role demands excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills to help students make informed academic choices and achieve institutional admission targets effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students regarding course selection and admission procedures clearly. Handle admission inquiries through calls, emails, and walk-ins professionally. Maintain accurate student records and follow up regularly for conversion. Coordinate with academic departments to process and verify admission documents. Conduct presentations and seminars to promote institution programs effectively. Guide students and parents about scholarship and financial aid opportunities. Achieve monthly and annual admission enrollment targets set by management. Stay updated with institutional policies, admission guidelines, and competitive trends.

Skill & Experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students effectively. Excellent sales and persuasion skills for student admission conversions. Proficient in CRM software and database management systems operations. Good organizational and time-management skills for multiple admissions handling. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Knowledge of educational systems, courses, and career counseling techniques.
