The Admission Counselor will be responsible for guiding students through course options, explaining program details, handling inquiries, and converting leads into admissions. The role requires excellent communication skills, a student-first approach, and the ability to meet monthly targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Counseling & Guidance
Counsel students on courses, eligibility criteria, fees, and career outcomes.
Understand the student's requirements and suggest suitable programs.
Follow a consultative approach to help students make informed decisions.
2. Lead Management & Follow-Up
Handle incoming calls, WhatsApp inquiries, and walk-ins.
Maintain proper follow-up with leads to ensure high conversion.
Update student details and follow-up status in CRM regularly.
3. Admissions Process
Assist students in completing admission formalities.
Share program details, brochures, and fee structures.
Coordinate with internal teams for enrollment, verifications, and documentation.
4. Sales & Targets
Work towards monthly admission targets.
Maintain high-quality conversations that drive conversions.
Provide daily/weekly reports to the manager.
Required Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good convincing and negotiation abilities.
Basic computer knowledge (CRM, MS Office, WhatsApp Web).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and student-centric approach.
Qualifications
Graduate in any field (Preferred: BBA, B.Com, BA, BSc, or equivalent).
Prior experience in counseling or tele-sales is an added advantage.
