Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and student-focused

Study Abroad Counselor

to join our team. The role involves guiding students through the entire overseas education process -- from university selection to visa filing -- ensuring a smooth and successful journey to their dream country.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Counseling:

Provide one-on-one counseling to students on study abroad options in countries like the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, etc. Understand students' academic and career goals, and match them with appropriate programs and institutions.

Application Support:

Assist in the preparation and submission of university applications, SOPs, LORs, resumes, and other documents. Coordinate with university admissions teams and follow up on application status.

Visa Assistance:

Guide students through the student visa process including documentation and interview preparation.

Lead Management:

Handle walk-ins, phone inquiries, and follow up on online leads. Maintain a database of students using CRM tools and ensure timely follow-ups.

Events & Seminars:

Organize and participate in info sessions, university fairs, webinars, and career counseling workshops.

Collaboration:

Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, documentation) and external partners (universities, coaching centers).

Key Skills Required:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong counseling and convincing ability Good knowledge of higher education systems across various countries Basic knowledge of visa rules and university procedures Ability to work under pressure and meet targets Proficient in MS Office, CRM software, and online tools

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline Prior experience in study abroad/immigration/education counseling preferred
