Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Student Counselor who will be responsible for guiding students through the admission process, providing academic counseling, and supporting marketing and outreach activities to attract new students. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for education, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Counseling & Admissions

Counsel students and parents about academic programs, career paths, and admission requirements.

Provide detailed information on courses, eligibility, and application procedures.

Handle walk-in, telephonic, and online inquiries effectively.

Follow up with potential leads to ensure conversion into admissions.

Maintain accurate records of inquiries, applications, and admissions in CRM or Excel.

Assist students throughout the admission and documentation process.

2. Marketing & Lead Generation

Participate in education fairs, school visits, and other outreach programs.

Coordinate online and offline marketing campaigns to generate student inquiries.

Create engaging content for social media, email campaigns, and promotional materials.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop digital strategies for student engagement.

Identify and build partnerships with schools, colleges, and other educational organizations.

3. Reporting & Coordination

Prepare weekly/monthly reports on inquiries, follow-ups, and admissions.

Work closely with academic and administrative teams to ensure smooth student onboarding.

Suggest and implement improvements in counseling and marketing processes.

Key Skills Required:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong persuasive and presentation abilities.

Knowledge of digital marketing and student outreach techniques.

Familiarity with CRM tools, Excel, and social media platforms.

Ability to work under targets and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Education, Marketing, Psychology, or a related field (Masters preferred).

1-5 years of experience in student counseling, admissions, or educational marketing.

Freshers with strong communication and enthusiasm for education are also encouraged to apply.
