About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and student-focused
Admission Counselor
to guide prospective students through the admissions process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate information, counseling students on available courses/programs, and ensuring smooth enrollment.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, admission procedures, and eligibility.
Handle inbound and outbound calls, walk-ins, and online inquiries.
Guide students in choosing the right program based on their interests and career goals.
Explain course details, fee structure, admission policies, and other related information.
Follow up with leads to convert them into admissions.
Maintain and update student databases, records, and reports in CRM.
Participate in admission campaigns, seminars, education fairs, and other promotional activities.
Meet monthly/quarterly admission targets set by the management.
Coordinate with academic and operations teams for smooth onboarding of enrolled students.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any field (Education, Marketing, or Psychology preferred).
1-4 years of experience in
counseling, admissions, or student advisory roles
(education sector preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good persuasion and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle queries with patience and professionalism.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and online communication platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in
higher education / edtech / training institutes
.
Multilingual communication ability (English + regional/international languages).
Strong sales/counseling background with target-driven mindset.
