Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager - Counselor to lead our counseling team, guide students and parents, and support enrollment growth. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in student counseling, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage a team while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students and parents regarding course offerings, academic pathways, career options and ensure high standards of student support and guidance

Understand student needs and recommend suitable programs

Assist in admission and enrollment processes

Build and maintain strong relationships with students, and parents

Collaborate with the marketing and academic teams to conduct seminars, webinars, and outreach events

Handle inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins with professionalism and accuracy

Maintain accurate student records and follow up on leads

Achieve monthly counseling and enrollment targets

Train and mentor junior counselors for performance and growth

Requirements

1 to 10 years of experience in counseling or academic advisory roles, preferably in the education sector

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Deep understanding of student behavior, academic needs, and career aspirations

Ability to work under pressure and meet targets

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
